Greenville-Spartanburg Airport (GSP)

We recommend flying into the Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport, which is located ~30 minutes from downtown Greenville. There are short connecting flights to GSP available from Atlanta and Charlotte, and those airports connect to all the major US airports. GSP is a small, but nice airport that is typically hassle-free.

Transportation to and from the airport

Check with your hotel to see if a shuttle service is available. If not, we recommend taking an Uber or Lyft between the airport and downtown Greenville. There are plenty of Uber/Lyft drivers in the downtown area, and there are typically some waiting outside the airport as well. Even if there isn't a driver waiting outside the airport, you can order a car to come from elsewhere to pick you up. You can also pre-order a ride when your plane lands so there is a car waiting for you once you exit the airport.

Once you get to downtown, the main attractions and necessities are within walking or biking distance.

Greenville

There are so many fun things to do in downtown Greenville, from biking and walking on the Swamp Rabbit Trail to visiting art galleries to eating and drinking your way around the city!
