The proposal in Florence, Italy!

Natalie

Natalie is originally from Ohio, but she moved to Mount Pleasant, South Carolina in 2013. She graduated with a bachelor's degree in Genetics from Clemson University, and she is currently working towards a master's in Bioengineering at Clemson. Natalie loves spending time with her friends, weightlifting, reading, and listening to music.

Simon

Simon grew up in Anderson, South Carolina. He is finishing up his co-op with Fluor and will graduate in May 2026 with a degree in Electrical Engineering from Clemson University. He likes biking, rock climbing, weight lifting, and roller blading.

Our Story

We first met in late November of our freshman year at Clemson in the basement of our 10-story co-ed dorm. We immediately hit it off, and we've been best friends ever since! In May of 2025, we took a trip to Italy, where we visited Rome, Florence, and Venice. On May 26th, we went up to the Piazzale Michelangelo where Simon proposed!
